Your donation provides clean drinking water!

Even before the disastrous military coup was initiated on February 1st, many poor communities in Myanmar were already struggling. One can imagine after the stranglehold that soldiers have since placed on various areas, the situation is only worse. So while much of our donation has gone towards helping those to win over democracy in nonviolent ways, we are also trying to help those impacted communities that have been almost totally left behind and have little outside support.

To these ends, we were delighted to partner with Myanmar Kitchen and support their noble effort to provide clean drinking water to one particular slum outside Yangon. With your donation, they were able to establish a clean water supply that goes to 100 homes, and which over 500 people can now benefit from.
