Concerning his visit to Myanmar, Keshav offers the additional comment:

“My time in Burma in 2010 gave me an insight into a living culture unlike any other I had seen which was deeply rooted within an understanding of inter connected existence. I had a taste of how a social fabric could possibly be created out of a perspective of deep insight into the human condition and the laws of nature (the dharma). It made me reflect on the contemporary notion of development and inquire into socio-cultural and economic fabrics in different parts of the planet and the extent to which these were aligned within a wider view of evolution. With the passage of time, I was also reminded of how living cultures could be very easily destroyed due to myopic views and the collective responsibility we have as a species to handle with wisdom and care what we inherit from our ancestors.”
