19 nunneries, 200 nuns, and counting!

The following update is from the Food For Nuns team, now in the process of collecting donation for Burmese Buddhist nuns around Yangon unable to receive proper food during this pandemic.

“Today, early morning our team of volunteers and Noe Noe have completed the first part of the stage-2 of our project. Sharing with kindness and compassion with the nuns in Mingaladon, we made possible the delivery of enough food to cover their needs for one month.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Today we delivered to 19 nunneries with a total of 200 nuns, and due to safety reasons we went to each nunnery and stayed at the front gate and donated the food packages. This time we explained the nuns that the food donated has been possible thanks to the generosity of more than 200 donors from all around the world (+33 nationalities)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
May the donors and supporters of this project be well and free from suffering.
May all beings be happy!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
—The chanting made by the Nuns is a chanting of loving kindness or Metta and its purpose is to share wishes of goodwill and kindness towards all beings, wishing for their safety and happiness.”
