This may not seem like much, but you're looking at the beginnings of a project we never believed could get off the ground! Readers who have been following our page may have seen the donation trips we've been making to support the education of Chin refugee children who have had to flee to Mizoram due to the violence being inflicted by the Burmese military following the coup.

In our previous posts, we shared the incredible impact of your support, as we distributed educational materials and brought hope to the lives of these resilient children. Your generosity has been instrumental in providing them with the tools they need to pursue their education and create a better future for themselves.

However, during our interactions with parents and organizers at the refugee camp, it became clear that as welcome as these educational materials are, what is really needed are new buildings to house the hundreds of children now streaming in. These children deserve a safe and conducive learning environment where they can thrive and fulfill their potential.

To address this pressing need, we have begun allocating funds not only for the supply of educational materials but also for the construction of school buildings. We are thrilled to share with you some pictures of the refugees who have begun acquiring wood that will go into the construction of these schools. Their hard work and determination are a testament to their belief in the power of education and the brighter future it holds.
