Donation Report: Spouses of People's Soldiers
In the depths of political turmoil, the valiant Spouses Of People's Soldiers group and its fearless leader, Ma Su Thit, stood steadfast against the forces of oppression. As the echoes of the coup d'état rang out, Ma Su Thit's husband, Ko Htet Myat, rose from the ranks of a military family to resist the usurpers and join the civil disobedience movement.
For nearly two years, the families of these brave former soldiers have weathered the storm of hardship, taking refuge in the liberated areas. Despite the daily struggles to survive, Ma Su Thit remains steadfast, bearing witness to the desperate need for basic necessities like rice, oil, and salt. The monumental task of connecting with donors to meet the needs of so many CDMs is not without its challenges, but through the generosity of the kind-hearted, essential food items and cooking oil bottles have been provided to 84 families in Mae Sot and the liberated area.
With hearts full of gratitude, the CDM soldiers extend their sincerest thanks to the donors who have offered a ray of hope in the darkest of times. Their unwavering spirit will not be diminished by the challenges they face, and they will continue to stand as a beacon of hope in the face of adversity
