A Nurse on CDM
The touching story of a nurse, and now mother, who benefited from the donation fund that our donors so generously provided. Please feel a heart-full of joy as you read this story. Even in these dark times, there are moments where we realize how we can help and what it means to those who may have a slightly easier day.
“I am a nurse from public health department and joined CDM since February 2021. I received support from your team since March, and it was the only source of income for me and for my family. I cannot practice medical treatment and care because the village authority would know and would report to the military of my whereabouts. I gave birth to a child last month which was quite hard for me. Because if I went to the general hospital, they would take my profile and it is not safe for me. Private hospitals are very expensive that I cannot afford. So I ended up in a small clinic under maternity and child care department with very limited facilities and expertise. The support from your team at Better Burma has been very helpful and encouraging to us, thank you very much.”
