Safety of Mandalay Railway Workers

We take another moment to appreciate the donation that has been provided to secure the escape and safety of Myanmar Railway workers currently on strike in Mandalay. Due to military operations in Mandalay yesterday, along with the presence of riot troops stationed throughout the city, additional precautions had to be taken to ensure the safety of this group yesterday, and they had to be relocated yet again in response to the violence.

It is sad to have to cover the faces of these gentle souls who are doing the good work, and I wish you could have seen their smile and humility through the photos. But it must be done for safety.
