Massive Myanmar Fundraising Event

As terribly awful as the news out of Myanmar has been this year, this month has been far worse than anything we’ve seen since, and all indications are that it will continue to decline in unprecedented ways, as the world continues to stand by. IDPs, starvation, abductions and torture, villages set aflame, aerial bombing campaigns, lack of food, shelter and medicine: things are growing even darker as military leaders becoming increasingly desperate in their grip on power.

Watching this all with alarm, Better Burma is partnering with several other activists to create what we hope will be the largest Myanmar fundraiser to date. Artists, speakers, and notable guests from within Myanmar as well as around the world will be contributing to this art auction event in hopes of raising large funds for the urgent humanitarian crisis now developing.
