Call for aid: Karenni State

Since the start of the coup, Karenni State has been one of the focal points which has seen frequent clashes between the junta troops and the PDFs. This state has been considered a red zone due to the constant junta presence. The civilians have endured the endless reign of terror by being shot at with heavy guns and increased reinforcements are being sent by the junta. Due to the continuous clashes with the junta and the PDFs at this point, children and the elderly have had to flee their homes for the jungles. Access to food security and medical care has become impossible, on top of this the cost of basic commodities have skyrocketed in the country due to inflation. Currently, there is an urgent request for food and medicine.

We have teams standing by ready to support the Karenni people, however we are in desperate needs of funds so that we can buy the needed supplies for these growing IDPs. Please consider making a contribution to support our effort in Karenni State.
