"Myanmar would be a Peaceful Country..."

Kyaw San Han views Min Aung Hlaing, the head of Myanmar’s military, with intense disdain, as he shared on a recent podcast episode. He describes him as a leader driven by a hunger for power, who has no mercy for civilians and is willing to sacrifice countless lives to maintain his control over the country. Kyaw San Han sees Min Aung Hlaing as a figure who has betrayed the people, using fear and violence to suppress democracy and force civilians, as well as police officers, into submission. He accuses Min Aung Hlaing of exploiting the military and police forces for his own power and creating a system where even the families of dissenters are threatened with arrest or worse. For Kyaw San han, Min Aung Hlaing’s leadership is marked by brutality and selfishness, with no regard for the wellbeing of the people or the country.

Please do not ignore us, and please also speak out about Myanmar democracy. So that is what I would like to give. This is my message that I would like to give.
— Kyaw San Han

“Everything that has happened in Myanmar, the brutality, is made by dictator Min Aung Hlaing and his brutal regime. Whenever you see bad news in Myanmar, especially during the democratic government—people around the world thought that our democratic government is responsible for that crisis, that conflict—actually the military, the leaders of that junta, they made it happen. These are problem-makers; they have no mercy.

I would like for all of you to understand the brutality of the Myanmar junta, of Min Aung Hlaing and the regime. It is obvious right now, he is using his last strategy to make civilians fight each other. So, please, also share my voice and my message to your friends, to your family, and to everyone you know, so as to know more about Myanmar.

If there were no dictator Min Aung Hlaing and his brutal regime, then Myanmar would be a beautiful, peaceful country in the world, as we used to be in the past. Now, the people of Myanmar are suffering a lot from the dictator Min Aung Hlaing, but the people of Myanmar, we are kind. We are very friendly. We need help from all of you. So, please help us more and more for our lives and for our restoration of democracy in Myanmar. Please do not ignore us, and please also speak out about Myanmar democracy. So that is what I would like to give. This is my message that I would like to give.”
