A White Elephant?

Another text-less image from the Burmese artist JMP, showing a crouching Min Aung Hlaing, complete with a mad smile, trying to paint an elephant white. Because white elephants are rare in the wild, Buddhist rulers have long called on them as an auspicious omen which can also serve to legitimize their rule. The joke here is that because Min Aung Hlaing lacks all claims to legitimacy, he must resort to trickery and manipulation in an attempt to convince a doubting public about his claims to leadership.
