Support CDM

Dāna in action: the photo shows bags of rice placed upon a table, with Burmese writing scrawled on a piece of cardboard that reads: "If you are in need, please take. If you have extra, please donate."

How many of us would give 100 bags of rice if we were there now? Fortunately, we have big news to report on our end. Even though all the banks are closed in-country, we are working with a reliable local network that is able to receive funds and hand-carry them in to support the Civil Disobedience Movement. It can cost as little as 50,000 kyat ($35) for a single civil servant to have sufficient travel allowance to leave their office and return to their home village. Funds will also go towards providing food, medical supplies, and protective equipment as the resources of local communities are dwindling to zero at a rapid rate.

Our donation platform is now set up to connect to a registered nonprofit to receive your dāna, and send it on immediately to communities who need it.

Continue to check out this platform as we will provide consistent updates on our efforts to bring your donation to these communities.
