International Meditation Centre Cooking

When this photo was taken in 2010, this Burmese man was approaching 80 years old and had been at International Meditation Center since the 1950s, when as a young man he helped out in the kitchen for the great Sayagyi U Ba Khin, later taking over many of the cooking duties.

As of this photo he was still a mainstay at the center, and especially in the kitchen, where this photo was taken. It's a very expressive face, and one must wonder what it may have seen through so many decades at such a special place.
