How your donation builds schools
We are so pleased to announce that your donation fund has reached the Lisu Educational Charity in Myitkyina, Kachin State. This school recently began for teenagers, and and your donation allowed for construction, chairs, and tables to facilitate learning.
The Lisu people are one of the ethnic minorities in the northern part of the country, who have been especially brutalized by the military seizure of the country. As many teachers and students are now refusing to serve the corrupt regime, an entire class of students are left without education for an ongoing, indeterminate period. Community schools like these are able to ensure that students continue to learn, study, and develop even through these dark days, and your donation helps them to continue that mission.
