Further support the CDM staff in Tamu

In a previous post we discussed the peculiar geography and culture of the far flung Tamu part of Myanmar. We are happy to provide an update that we have transferred part of your donation to further supporting the CDM movement in Tamu.

The organizer overseeing the transfer of these funds has shared the following appreciation: “Myanmar civil servants’ courage, determination and sacrifice to protest the military regime by giving up all their government jobs, titles, positions and other compensations are recognized by the international communities and friends and we highly appreciate your generous donation to our civil servants.”

The funds went to support the basic food and living expenses of these workers and their families. The donation went to the civil servants from township government administration.
