Message from a volunteer

Our local volunteer managing this project in Nyaungshwe has sent another update. We almost have enough funds to be able to provide them with one of the three full medical tents they are hoping to build. Please consider sharing this so that others may consider a contribution!

"During recent days after the coup , thousands of refugees have entered the Displaced Person Camps because of the conflict between Myanmar Army and civilian ethic defence groups who have been fighting for the principle of equal rights , fair equality of opportunity and the restoration of the civilian government . Even when the causes of this situation are multiple , the conflict has resulted in a large number of both civilians and refugees fleeing to neighbouring countries and remote areas."
