Snake bites
Myanmar is home to some of the most venomous snakes in the world. Every year, thousands of people are bitten by snakes, and many of these bites are fatal.
There are many different species of snakes in Myanmar, and all of them are capable of inflicting serious harm or even death. The most dangerous snakes include the king cobra, the common krait, and the banded krait.
All of these snakes are highly venomous, and their bites can cause severe pain, swelling, and tissue damage. In some cases, bites can even lead to paralysis or death.
Despite the dangers, many people in Myanmar still choose to handle snakes, either for food or for traditional medicinal purposes. This increases the risk of being bitten, as does simply being in the vicinity of a snake.
The best way to avoid being bitten by a snake is to avoid them altogether. If you must go into an area where snakes are known to live, be sure to wear protective clothing and always keep a lookout for these dangerous creatures.
