Chin weather

Chin State is one of the most remote and least developed areas in Myanmar. It is also one of the wettest, receiving up to 4,000 mm of rain per year. The rainfall is heaviest from May to October, and Chin State is particularly vulnerable to floods and landslides during this period.

The average temperature in Chin State is 21.7 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature can vary significantly from one location to another, and can be as low as 10 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

Chin State has a diverse range of ecosystems, including tropical rainforests, montane forests, and dry deciduous forests. This diversity means that the state is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species.

The human population of Chin State is predominantly rural, and subsistence farming is the main economic activity. The state is also rich in minerals, including gold, silver, and jade.
