Seafood in Burmese cuisine

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are no longer pink, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add the chicken broth, fish sauce, turmeric, paprika, and chili flakes (if using) to the pan and bring the mixture to a boil.

  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the rice noodles to the pan. Cook the noodles until they are soft, about 5 minutes.

  5. Stir in the chopped cilantro and green onions. Serve hot.
