RESERVATION POLICIES:

We prefer that the full enrollment cost be paid in order to reserve a spot on our pilgrimage; however, a partial deposit may also be possible. Please contact us for further details as this depends on the specific pilgrimage you will be attending. Payment can be accepted through cash, bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card. 

Also please note that all of our group pilgrimages are based on a minimum number of 10 participants. If less than 10 participants register, the trip may be cancelled or a slightly higher fee will be charged of pilgrims.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

All sales are final. Because we are a small company that provides small group encounters on intensive pilgrimage tours, we rely on the rates and fees to make reservations months in advance at all the sites on our schedule. If a pilgrim needs to cancel due to unexpected emergencies, please state your reason for cancellation as early as possible and we will consider this when issuing a full or partial refund. 

CHECK-IN:

Travelers arriving in Yangon on the date of the pilgrimage start date will be met at the airport and taken to the hotel. Otherwise, it will be the traveler's own responsibility to reach the hotel. Most pilgrimages begin at 3:00 p.m. on the start date of the tour. 

FACILITIES:

Travelers will sleep in either hotels or monasteries, depending on the pilgrimage selected. Those staying at monasteries may want to bring additional items, as detailed here. Standard hotels will be 2.5-3.5 stars, depending on availability. Those travelers who wish to stay in higher level accomodations may contact us prior to the reservation. 

MEDICAL CONCERNS:

As mentioned here, travelers are advised to consult their local medical center concerning what vaccinations and medicines are needed for travel in Myanmar. Additionally, make sure to bring all prescription medication to last the duration of the pilgrimage, as well as any additional required medicines, in case of sickness or injury. Finally, travelers are highly encouraged to purchase their own medical insurance to ensure coverage throughout their time in Myanmar
