Consular servicees

Myanmar has eight consular offices in the United States, located in New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Washington D.C. and Honolulu. The New York City office is the only consular office with 24-hour emergency services.

All other consular offices are open from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm, except for national holidays. Appointments are not necessary for most consular services, but are required for visa applications.

The Consulate General of Myanmar in New York provides consular services to residents of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky,Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland, and Delaware.

The Consulate General of Myanmar in San Francisco provides services to residents of Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Hawaii.

The Consulate General of Myanmar in Los Angeles provides services to residents of Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico.

The Consulate General of Myanmar in Houston provides services to residents of Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Mississippi.

The Consulate General of Myanmar in Chicago provides services to residents of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

The Consulate General of Myanmar in Seattle provides services to residents of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana.

The Embassy of Myanmar in Washington D.C. provides services to residents of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, District of Columbia, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

The Consulate General of Myanmar in Honolulu provides services to residents of Hawaii, Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon and Washington.
